Preschool period is perhaps the most important period in gaining an awareness towards the environment. Understanding of the environment and attitude towards the environment is shaped in the preschool period. Learning based on experience is an effective learning process where children learn in natural environments by observing and analyzing real situations and by personal participating in the process. While placing the seed in the soil, children are a part of nature and have the opportunity to observe an ongoing process and through correct direction, children can develop an awareness of the environment.
